Quaglino's was a very dazzling restaurant of the 1930's. The new incarnation is an entirely modern restaurant of glamour and entertainment. Quaglino's has a sense of humour and an air of romance and it is a place to see and be seen.

The restaurant is actually an old pub (and I mean old - complete with low ceilings and cranium damaging wooden beams). Don't try to get in just for a drink as it's always packed out - book in advance. It's well worth a visit, with a wide and varied menu, including a good vegetarian selection. I've classified this as a 'Modern British' restaurant, but it's menu has influences from all over the world (France, India & Far east, Italy). Although there are a lot of staple items on the menu, it does change with the seasons, and with whatever is really good at the time/in season. I personally love their fish dishes (ie the chef(s) know not to over cook it!).
