Different concept to the convery belt restaurant above - this is sort of like a yakitori bar, but without the yakitori! Geared for groups of 4-6 people who want to drink and eat and have fun. Seating is a little uncomfortable as you are sunken into the floor and there's not too much leg room, but it's amusing to watch the waiters stoop down without spilling anything. The big selling point is that each of the tables has a beer tap on it, and at the end they charge you based on the meter reading. Food is OK being mainly bento box based, but the menu could do with revising - how about some (or rather lots of) yakitori! Smoke extracting ash trays on each table are an excellent idea (where can you buy them?)

The original Yo! Which popularised the converyor-belt sushi concept in London (although I believe moshi-moshi in Liverpool street station was first). A varied selection of reasonably good quality sushi trundles before your eyes, and you pick what you want. At the end they add up the number of empty plates you have (different colours=different prices) to work out your bill. Very funky atmosphere.

Yo! Branch in the O2 center in finchley road. Reasonable quality sushi in a funky atmosphere. Seems to be a little cheaper than the central london sites, which is a good thing.

Yo! Sushi at Harvey Nick's - the usual Yo! Convery belt concession, also offers all you can eat for £18 (pink plates extra at £3.50) every night between 7pm and 11pm.

A Yo! Branch in the millenium dome. What will they think of next?! Probably a very good idea, as yo!'s sushi tends to be quite good.

Smart sushi bar just off Picadilly. Good range of high quality sushi and sashimi, with a wide range of bento boxes including other standard dishes such as tempura and grilled fish. Elegant modern decor, although can be a little empty in the evenings.
