The Zetter's airy crescent-shaped restuarant, occupying the majority of the ground floor of the building, is bathed in natural light from the sash windows that wrap around the room, and give views onto the historic cobbled stones of St Johns Square. The food is modern Italian - a nod to the area's ethnic roots - while the attitude is relaxed yet professional. The Zetter is open all day and offers flexible eating, catering as much for grazers as it does for those enjoying an a la carte meal. Lazy brunches extend until the late afternoon on weekends with inviting dishes such as avocado on toast with crispy pancetta. With the menu changing monthly, it exploits the best produce on offer at the markets. Pasta, risottos and pizzas vary weekly, and the restaurant's wonderful tortellini and focaccia are made on-site. Owned by Italian superchef Aldo Zilli, serving up fish and seafood in Soho. It's a small but open restaurant, quite noisy, with tables packed in and very close. The waiters are amenable and service very fast. Apart from the main menu, there is a weekly changing menu and selected wines of the week. Not at all pretentious and very relaxed.
