Modern British with French & Greek specialties. Superb decor and surroundings. Service is faultless, food always good and prices very reasonable. As good as many a West End flagship eating place. Close by Mile End Tube Station and easy parking outside. Philip the owner is Greek and takes personal interest in every customer. Very comfortable surroundings. We have been several times and have gotten a table without a reservation but at peak times I would book ahead

Phillp the owner, always makes us welcome Great food. Had my wifes 40th Birthday party there and nothing was too much trouble.Very pleasent staff, value for money. well worth a visit.

A lot of hard background work goes into making this restaurant the success it is. Always friendly, cheerful waiters, and very spacious, usually meaning good availability. I think the success of the great food, is the freshness of their ingredients and the simplicity of their cooking. Only slight criticism would be the menu maybe needs updating, however if it aint broke.....?

My husband, friends and family had a fantastic New years eve at the 'Venus', great party atmosphere. We go there regularly and cannot fault the service and the food, as soon as you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome by Phil, he works long and hard to make this restaurant a great place to go to.

I have been to venus in park twice. And in every visit the waiters and the food is fantastic. I used to go to there old resurant and play cards with the owner and the present day waiters,with my daughter. The service old resturant was really good, and it as stayed the same in there new resturant

I thought that this restaurant was the best greek restaurant i have ever visited and the food was even better!! I would recomend the food, the service and the atmosphere to anyone!

Had a fantastic evening at the Venus last night -eleven of us celebrating parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. Food was excellent with a wide choice. The service was second to none, absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely waiters and they made the evening very special for us all. Very lively atmosphere, good decor. If we lived nearer like the rest of our family (we live in Maidenhead) we would be regular customers. But we will make another visit in the future. Fantastic!!!

I went to this restaurant with my partner. The service was good, the atmosphere was busy and lively, the decor was modern, clean and enticing. The food was reasonable, although nothing 'out of this world', the menu was somewhat limited with regard to main courses and not particularly original. However it was correctly priced for what it was. I enjoyed he evening, but I would only go there for the atmosphere, rather than the food!

I have been here eight times for many occassions. Birthdays, christmas parties, girls night out and also just for a nice meal with my partner. it is such a fantastic place. The food is out of this world, and service is brilliant and very friendly. I would reccommend it to anyone who wants a super night out and wants the best food on their plate.

Hi... This is Joan, I've been coming here for the longest time and converted the whole family. You know who we are Norma... Mum... Leonard... Dorothy... Syliva etc etc.. Staff are fantastic make you feel at home and go the extra mile for a special event... Keep it up lads... I applaude you.

Why is there not an "excellent" option in the review parameters? I can find no fault with this venue. I was at the Tower, some years ago, when I asked a Yeoman of the Guard (Glaswegian), "Where can I find a good steakhouse, like a "Beefeater"?... (Hmmm) I was pointed towards the man's Uncle Tony (a greek, I believe) in Mile End. I ran out of superlatives while eating my starter. exceellent food, excellent wine, excellent service, excellent atmosphere and only 50 yds from Mile End tube station. GO THERE (this entry was submitted by the pickiest, most fussy, outspoken, vociferous people on thr planet>)

this restaurant is a truly nuts out experience.best place i have been to in its field. highly recommend the fried onions.dont order too many starters as main course is never small.
